I absolutely love the buzz of excitement before going on holiday and arriving at the airport is when the hype starts to get to fever-pitch.

What if I told you that you can sit back and enjoy your check-in without having to fight through the aisles of last-minute purchases and you can plan them in advance? Well, you absolutely can with thanks to the guys over at World Duty Free.

How does it work?

All you need to do is head over to the World Duty Free website, select your departure location and date then choose the products you want to buy ready for collection on the day!

Of course, Duty-Free pricing is only available if you’re flying outside the EU – but by shopping this way you can save at least 20% from the RRP of the equivalent basket from the high street.

To be on the safe side, you pay for your products when at departure, so even if you’re flight is canceled you don’t need to worry about trying to get your money back.

What to expect?

So despite not having any immediate travel plans, the guys over at World Duty Free were kind enough to send over a couple products for me to sample, despite not jet-setting off somewhere exotic. So what I received was Kiehl’s Texturising Clay and the Versace Pour Homme Travel Set.

I’ve been a fan of Kiehl’s for ages, so it’s good to note you can get the Texurising Clay from World Duty Free for around 20% less than the RRP at around £15 (usually nearer £20 RRP)

Loving the smell of the Pour Homme fragrance, with notes of lemon and bergamot, which regular readers of the blog will know – I absolutely adore.

The 50ml size is perfect for easy storage in grooming bags and at £37.50 at time of writing, it’s around £15 cheaper than the RRP on the high street!

This service is perfect for those who are often traveling outside the EU and can take full advantage of the cheaper prices. It’s just common sense to pre-order your duty-free before flying and best still, you’ll be saving some serious money on some of those more expensive purchases!
